I'm still doing a wee bit of pysanky. A weeeeeeeee bit. I've been feeling so pooped lately, when I get home from work, I mostly vegetate on the sofa. My after school intentions are good, but my energy level hasn't been matching.
This was the latest survivor of my egg designs. I love Russian churches and babushkas/matroyshkas so I tried a design of them on an egg.
I'm happy with it.
I do need to find something to do with my eggs, because as it is they're sitting around "Snippyville, and I keep breaking them. Argh.

So pretty! I love the colors and especially the designs! No more breaking your beautiful eggs!!! :)
They are so incredibly beautiful! They should be placed on individual little stands in a glass case where they can't be broken. The Russian Cathedral (onion domes)side is breathtaking! And this was all done with the hot wax? It's hard to believe that you can squeeze out such fine lines!
These are so beautiful! Love the designs and strong colors.
Just lovely, as usual.
I came across an illustrator's site you might like. Today she posted some pics of an egg she painted: http://blogdelanine.blogspot.ca/2012/04/egg.html
These are spectacular, Jan!!! Can you make or buy a display case for the wall that has a cover so they can't fall out??? I think they need an armed case at the Metropolitan Museum of Art! Seriously!!!
Hi. Just came across this and thought of you! Animation using paper cuts...
