Before and After - 65 Mile Ride

I have had a cold for the past few days.  Truly I felt like crap this morning.  We're doing a 100 mile bike ride Saturday after next, so I needed to get in a 65 mile training ride today regardless of how I felt.  This photo was taken at 7 a.m.
This was what I looked like after the 65 miles and around noon...and with the temps in the low 90s.  Can you say, "Rode hard and put away wet?"

Wow! You should be so proud of yourself and don't give another thought to how you look. You look healthy and strong! I'm terrified of bikes, so I think this is really impressive.

You are just looking wonderful, Jan!!! Congrats on your awesome bike riding trips! I am somewhat jealous, but I still kinda hate exercise...but I am very happy for you and all your successes! You must feel just plain wonderful after a nice hot shower and a cold drink and nap!!! Hehehe...:)

Congrats! That's a LONG ride!!! But feeling worn out in a good way is a GREAT thing!

That is amazing, Jan. Good for you! I'm passionate about running and completed a half marathon in August. There's nothing like seeing what the body can do.

Wow, it sounds like a lot of work to ride a bike that far! I don't think I rode farther that 30 miles in a day! It is very impressive that you are challenging yourself with this training. Go get 'em!

Wow 65 miles. My big exercise today was yelling and ringing a cowbell at the Rays game.
