Something that I pride myself in is that I can always find a way to entertain myself. I don't often get bored. But I must confess. I am sooooooooooo bored. So bored I am almost comatose. Do I not have a "to do" list a mile long? Yes, I do. I just don't want to do any of it.
For the past 8 years I have been in a modified calendar school. The budget cuts killed that concept in my county. If we still had that calendar, I'd be teaching by now. Instead, I have a long summer. It must be kind of like muscle memory or something. I just don't know what to do with myself if I'm not teaching in August.
I signed up to participate in an art teacher ATC swap, then forgot to make anything. Luckily, I had perfectly acceptable ones already made.
Here are the ones I received in return.
Lovely, lovely.
Hopefully now that I have opened fun ATC mail for the day, I will find motivation to do something else.

Your ATC's were gorgeous! I'm glad you had some ready to go!
Lucky are the folks that recieved one of yours!!!
Wow those snips are beautiful... and the ATC's that were returned are lovely too... Our Summer hols ovcer here have always lasted 6 weeks from almost the end of July to the beggining of September...I can understatnd you restlessness to get back to work especially if it use to be your usual routine...
big hugs Alex
right there with you- it's not that I can't entertain myself, and I do have a long to-do list, but I am very restless and ready to be back to the kids and the routine...
Love your ATC!
Nice snippings for the ATC's you sent out. It is a lot of fun to swap. I like what you received too. Wisconsin doesn't usually start until around September 1st and I like it that way! Minnesota always waits until after Labor Day to go back. This year my school is starting the last week in August. So pretty soon I have to kick it into high gear for some organizing of lessons and putting the final touches on my room. Enjoy the days that are left.
I'm with ya! I got bored too - I'd go blog-hopping hoping for inspiration and nada. I couldn't seem to get off the computer fast enough...so I started reading some books and that helped me over the hump. Have you had any more fat-fairy inspiration? Those always make me smile!!!
