Whimsy

I'm spending the weekend drawing on notecards. I love whimsy and so these are just fun to do.

I'll put them up on Etsy, and if they remain there past Christmas, I'll be happy to send them out myself. So often I have trouble finding commercial cards that "speak" to me.

By the way, if you have an Etsy shop, would you leave a comment for me? I want to do a post sometime soon where I give the links to my favorite artist/friends.

Those are some fuzzy cats. Must be static electricity from being rubbed on the head:)

Beautiful cards, Jan - I especially like your curvy cats! I would give you my Etsy details but sadly it won't be up and running until next year now... when I have some time to make some stock. Sara x

OH I AM LOVIN' THAT CRAB!!!

Oh come on, you know you need to try DAS clay! You know it's just going to call to you and nag you until you give in and play with it.... come on now, don't let me be the only one with absolutely no self control when it comes to new supplies! lol

I love the crab!! It's kind of a logo for my husband's job :) You are so artistic, it's amazing!

I keep coming back to look at the crab. When I was in 8th grade we moved to southern Maryland and learned to catch blue crabs off the seawall with sun-baked chicken legs on a string. I still prefer blue crab to lobster. To eat, not to catch, I don't see myself going lobstering any time soon. Anyhow, I guess your crab drawing is making me sentimental. :-)
