So try the origami trees with your students--they are massively addictive. Online I found a tabletop origami tree displayed in a classroom. The base tier must have been about 2 feet wide, and each of the four flat segments for each tier was used to display origami pieces. Very cute idea. Let me know if you'd like the link.
