Seems that one of his art students was trying to rack up brownie points with this portrait. I love it. Can you see a resemblance with my portrait of him?
Anyway, it turned out that my "pay it forward" gift for Chan was liked well enough after all. Chan remarked that he could let his students dress it in the little goofy outfit I made for it.
Well, that's all it took for me to continue on with the project. Remember Colorforms?
The thin vinyl shapes that stick onto a background? Hoarder that I am, years ago at school, I grabbed these from the teacher give away pile. I knew that someday I would think of a use for them. TaDa! The day finally came.

These adhere wonderfully to the glass on the front of the frame. I'll send Chan some Colorforms too, so he can create a whole wardrobe.
