I stumbled across this fun blog: Poste Nomade They create their art on postal envelopes.
I don't understand French, so I can just be lazy and look at the pictures on this blog. Their art is created on mail envelopes. Fun stuff. I saw a tiny little racey drawing on one of them. I wonder if the US Mail would have yanked it right out of the pile.

Thank you for this gentle words about our site. The french and swiss posts are very kind with us, indeed. But mail-art mouvement has been invented by an american artist : Ray Johnson, in the 60's.
