Someone, over a period of a couple of months, stole laptops from an elementary school. Unbeknownst to this "rocket scientist" thief these Macs had a tiny video camera on the top of the screen. As well, when connected to the internet, the IT guys at the elementary school could sit back and watch remotely what the thief was looking at online....as well as look at the face of the thief as he did it.
Turns out that he was recognized by a school system security guard as a student at one of the local high schools.
