Palazzo Macaroni
Guess where we went to eat Friday night. In case you can't read the business card, it is from Macaroni Grill. It seemed logical to build an Italian Palazzo from this card.
I've linked to her page before, but I do want to make sure to give Sharon Mount credit for the idea of making these wee little buildings. I'm just having a ball making them too. http://blog.tinybuildings.com/
Today has been a pleasant Sunday. We rode bikes about 10 miles on one of our good old standby circuits. Mark's parents came over so Mark could do their taxes. We all went to Mike's for lunch. (Yum!!!) And now we are chilling in front of the tv. Pretty low stress day.

Thank you so much for your comment! This is a totally new craft for me, I'm generally very fiber-oriented- knitting, spinning, etc, but I'm completely fascinated by papercutting. I absolutely LOVE the sledding design you did! You're really talented!
I can't wait to explore this more and see what happens. I'm absolutely terrible at drawing, but I'm sure I can figure something out. I hadn't even thought about the negative space aspect of the heart, but it's an interesting concept to bear in mind.
Thanks!
Jenny
Another wee little building - I love it!!!
Susan
A. I love it.
B. I love the photograph of it. I need to learn to take better pictures of my art stuff.
I think you could have a nice show of these little sculptures and then HUGE photographs of them. I think that would be very cool.
really love this blog and what you did with the papers, simple yet stunning :)
Oh yours is so adorable! I just found the Tiny Buildings blog recently and I think it's such a fun idea.
