The Secret Sin

I received this a couple of weeks ago. It is from a kindergartner. Since I am not used to reading the writings of 5 year olds, I could not figure out what the heck this was about. Whenever I asked primary teachers to translate it for me, they kept reading it as "I like to do the secret sign." That made absolutely no sense to me.  After some thought I realized what it was about.  I had shown this class a parody of " Call Me Maybe" by Cookie Monster.  At the end of the song I put my pinky and thumb to my ear and mouth and whispered  "Call me."  I told them that this was our " secret sign" and they should do that when we see each other in the hall.

Hahah! You had me worried about this kindergartner for a moment! I was afraid he/she was revealing something from home that I didn't want to know!

Just thinking - you'd better tell the parent what this means before the child brings the artwork home and the parent wonders "what is she teaching them in art class?!"
