I just heard a report on NPR about the early East coast snowfall! Here, we usually have rain for Halloween, so the Trick or Treaters wear coats over their costumes and their makeup is usually a bit smudged..) :D

Here in the lower Adirondacks in NY we had our first snow on Thursday, and are expecting a few inches or so tonight. UGH. I think there will be more just to the south of us but I'm hoping that it doesn't happen at all.

Oh my goodness! We've just had our first hot days, in the high 80s, with plenty more where that came from... I think after 5 years here I am slowly adapting to that southern hemisphere reversal of seasons. It didn't occur to me that you might get SNOW right now! Hope you're wrapped up warm, Sara

No snow down this way, just a cold rain. We did have a good frost this morning.
