Sculptures Based on the Work of Tim Prentice

Today I attended an inservice for county art teachers.   One of the new lessons that was introduced, concerned the work of sculptor, Tim Prentice.  It was intended as a lesson for fourth grade.  We had to create a mobile or a stabile in a twenty minute period.  We were supposed to take these back to school as a model for this lesson.

I took photos of many of the sculptures and friends asked me to email them copies.  There are too many to email, so my friends can probably snag them from here.  (If you can't, let me know and I will email the ones you want.)

Amazingly fun!!! How cool it is to see how differently they all turned out!!! I can't imagine a more fun time that to create with a bunch of fellow art teachers!!! I hope someone had the coffee and snacks! :)

There is some higher level thinking in these projects. Way to create a challenging project!
