No Patience

I was afraid that I would be too impatient for the new dye to arrive, and yes, I was too impatient.

I intended to dye this a darker blue.

The darker dye arrived in the mail the day after I used the turquoise. Oh well. At least I didn't break it yet!

Here's what the egg looked like pre-dyed and before all of the work was done.

Yes - don't hurt the egg! It's a beautiful colour and I guess you'll just have to make another one with the darker dye (sorry!), Sara
