Yup. This morning I got my first pair of prescription glasses ever.
I think they are glorified reading glasses, but at least with these I can walk around and see normally through one section of the glass. Before, when I walked around looking through my reading glasses, I'd trip over things...fall down stairs....stuff like that.

Wow! I've been wearing glasses for 34 years! I can still remember how cheated I felt when I found out that the leaves on trees DON'T look like an Impressionist painting from a distance... I hope you get some real benefit from them. Sara x
Lovely foto's, I am sure the time when I'm going to need some glasses is not so far away...
goodluck with yours!
Your new glasses will be a wonderful thing once you get used to them! Love these interesting shots on that program you were playing with! The first one is priceless!!!
Been wearing glasses and contacts for years. When I first pulled up your post, I thought something was wrong with my glasses... LOL. Cute pics!
What fun pictures! I wear glasses for distance (as does everyone in my family) but I imagine eventually will need them for close-up as well.
Some days my "get up and go" feels like it got up and went but I try to stay pretty busy. I think it's important to share knowledge. What a miserable world we'd live in if everyone kept what they know to themselves and no one could grow or expand their minds. There's something to be said for making a living but there's also something to be said for enriching the lives as others, just because. Thanks for being a valued friend, Jan! Your comments always warm my heart. ~Moriah
First time my husband showed me Photo Booth I jumped in fright at the image of me looking back from my computer. LOL These look like you had some good fun.
Your first photo made me laugh - just how I felt in my new glasses. Some where on the net there is a good link to making your own lightbox out of a cardboard box. I still have mine, but I'm usually too lazy to get it out.
hee hee -- i love how you distorted yourself -- you must have a MAC!:)
