ThreeDeeBee

I'm doing a swap with Andrea Gutierrez, a blogger with whom I am newly acquainted. In trying to figure out which direction to take in doing a snip for her, I discovered that she has a blog about bees.

Insects!!!! Bingo!!!! I love doing insect snips.

So I did this 3D bee snip for her.

Scherenschnitte approx. 8" x 10"

Oh, Snippety Jan, I sincerely have to say "this is so breathtaking". i had to take a deep intake of breath, i loved it so much. it is "nature gorgeous". You know i say often enough how much i love your work. I may have to try my hand at some bugs one of these days, though I definitely think you have a major talent for them. where did the inspiration come for this one? I will be heading over to her blog to check out her bees in just a moment, but... i just had to send a virtual hug, and tell you how much i am amazed at your bug creations. they are very easily some of my FAVORITES!!! soon...

How beautiful! It's just such a lovely thing, calling it a 'snip' doesn't seem to do it justice. One of your best, I think, Sara x
ps. Jan, as my doubleelephant blog is changing I think you'll have to set up 'following' again if you're interested because I noticed a few things got deleted in the changeover!

Hi there! May did send me this link, fell in love with it...hopped all over the place and could not remember where my link was filed! In any case, I do a "Bee Spotting" post every Tuesday and am wondering if I might share a picture with you link. It is later than normal for me to do this, was helping kindergarten kids today. I am still planning on getting a post done even if it is tomorrow morning. Pleas let me know asap if I can share a picture! This is just sooooooooooooo awesome and I marvel when I see paper cutting like this!
