I acquired so many goodies today that I feel a little guilty.
First of all, I was excited to receive goodies from a swap I did with Andrea Gutierrez of the Cider and Faun blog.
I just adore these prints.
I'm torn between wanting to keep them for myself and framing them for my Granddaughter. They're so precious.
And then there's this little woodlands elf. He's a papercut and ink piece. This piece and the others are so simple and reserved. That's part of their charm.
She even sent a print of a scherenschnitte house.
Thanks, Andrea. It was so much fun getting these today. They are gorgeous.
Then there was a goody from the UPS man. I bought this egg lathe with an Amazon gift certificate. I made the egg on it this afternoon. What a dream to use! Wow. It just made drawing wax lines phenominally easier.
This last goody was given to me by a second grade fellow as he entered the art room today, but I have no clue who it was. = ( As soon as he gave it to me, I stuck it in a pocket and forgot about it. What a lovely piece of stationery. I need to find out who made it.
