I Need Some Snippety Sleep

Scherenschnitte 3D papercutting

I should be snippety sleeping, but instead, in the middle of the night, I am down in Snippyville*. Too much thinking in my dreams has brought me to this. So, I figured if I was awake for a couple of hours thinking about stuff, I might as well put the time to good use.

This snip is about trying to juggle too much. It seems as though I keep adding more cups and saucers to the balancing act. The outcome is never good when you do that...but pile on, I continue to do.

Maybe now that I have taken this one thought off the top of the pile, I can go back to sleep.

*Snippyville is what we call my studio.

I know just what you mean about waking in the night and your brain grabs the opportunity to fill itself with loads of thoughts, worries and everything you have burried deep in the back of your mind to deal (or not) with another day!
I love the snip it is very thought provoking.... and I love the way the shadows add more detail and depth...

And I know what you mean about piling things up and up and up and then having too many things on the pile! I hope you manage to knock some more things off the top and get some sleep... I love the snip, though. The 3D ones are really effective. Take care of yourself! Sara x

Once again, another very cool cutting. Amazing how you are able to put your thoughts into your creations!

Sorry about the lack of sleep, but boy can I relate to your snip. I keep telling myself to say no to things, but I can't stop and it's all going to come crashing down soon.
Now I feel terrible for tagging you to play along as it seems you don't need anything else to do, but.....if you want to play check out today's post. :)

Totally understand the juggling plates thing. Just when I think things are going to settle down a bit, here comes another plate!
