My daughter took her five year old into the voting booth with her. The little one announced to the lady in the next voting booth that they were voting for Orak Obama.
I'm glad you were able to express your preferences on your blog, at least! It's been amazing watching it all unfold from over here - we're catching a real sense of renewed hope, and I certainly feel as if I've seen a moment of history.
Yay, for Obama. I watched the coverage all day here. It was very exciting - I knew I was watching history in the making. I heard of people lining up for hours to cast their vote. How long did you line up for?

I LOVE that you took a picture of your ballot. I wish I'd done that. I'm SO excited!
And now we know today that Orak won! And way to document your voting as either way it would have been an historic election!

PS. Can't believe you're a grandmother! I bet your granddaughter thinks you're the coolest bicycle-riding, scissor-wielding grandmother around!
