Passion for the Arts
Wow......I was hoping someone would send me a meme. And here I got two within a couple of weeks. This came from Jen at my school and at this blog: .Elementary, My Dear, or Far from It

There are so many things in even the top five of what I would like to "give" to my students. The one that comes to mind first is to give my students a love for expressing themselves through the arts. The arts provided such a powerful outlet for me in my early years, without which, my life would absolutely have taken another path. My life would have been so less rich.

Okay, I'm supposed to "tag" five other teachers. All the teacher blogger friends who are similar to my experience have already been tagged. So I'll go to the two teacher bloggers left who I know. One is an "unschooler" Mom and one is in higher ed. Diane http://mackvilleroad.blogspot.com/ and Sara http://doubleelephant.blogspot.com/.

Great photo. Yours? Why oh why have I not seen your paper cutting? Ms. Gibbet... you have a book in you. Can we collaborate? From what I've read you don't need a writer. Just saying. In case you ever think more about it.
Nice picture, and nice post. I'm curious, what does meme stand for? I see it everywhere and just assume everyone but me knows where it started and what it means.
