Mountain Bikers in the Wind

On Sunday, the weatherman called for temps in the 50's, but with windgusts of 50 mph. Naturally, we decided to go mountain biking in the woods. Excitement ensued. Mark almost got nailed by a "widowmaker." (A limb that falls into the ground like a spear.) Another limb fell perpendicular to my front tire by about a yard. We saw lots of debris falling, plus a few trees. A good time was had by all.

You crazy mountain bike riders! My hubby and boys live for days like that!
My oldest son (16) has now picked up a love for downhill biking - it must be the thrill!

Thank you for your comment on my blog. I am excited to continue this craft. I have been having a hard time finding paper in my area though.

What paper do you prefer? I used oragami and it cut very nicely.

I am going to keep checking out your blog for inspiration.

Be well,
jessica

My dad rides his bike. He has a road bike, he has a mountain bike, he also has a cyclocross bike. And I like how your blog has a picture of a bike on it. And I glad you wrote about me on your blog.
